美國西部哪個城市，會與「浪漫」劃上等號，位在華盛頓州的西雅圖，因為一部好萊塢電影「西雅圖夜未眠」聲名大噪，但其實西雅圖原本就是一個充滿湖泊、河流及山脈的好地方，所以又有「翡翠之城」的美譽。在西雅圖鄉親的帶領下，不但體驗了派克市場神乎其技的拋魚秀，還來到世界知名的咖啡連鎖創始店，喝一杯道地的西雅圖咖啡，但這樣如此美好的西雅圖卻竟然有一個全世界最髒的景點，看了包準你頭皮發麻。
世界知名的波音工廠就在西雅圖，但它和來自台灣的客家人卻有深厚的關係，究竟是怎麼一回事呢？
波特蘭是世界小型釀酒廠最集中的區域，我們即將參加一年一度的冬季啤酒節，暢飲最道地的Ale啤酒，體驗最奔放的美式啤酒文化。走，現在就跟我飛到美西作客去。

Summer 2013
This summer is our busiest summer ever. In July we went to Paul McCartney's concert in Seattle. August, we visited sisters Linda and Lily in LA. Went to Disneyland with Lily and her 3 boys. Traveled to Oregon Coast, pick lavender at the lavender farms, pick berries at the local U-Pick farms. Busy making jams, sugar scrubs and pickles....
Lost in Oregon too......
